Air Optix Colors are contact lenses that can be worn with or without vision correction. They allow the wearer to emphasize the color of their eyes and come in a range of 12 colors. They can enhance any eye color. The lenses have a treatment applied to their surface, called Smartshield, that resists surface deposits that can irritate the eye.
Users should remember that these are contact lenses and, although worn for cosmetic reasons, are nonetheless prescription medical devices and must be worn under the prescription, direction and supervision of an optometrist or other eye care professional. You should never share contact lenses with another person or you will risk serious eye health problems. Whilst rare, serious eye issues can develop from wearing contact lenses in some people. You may feel side effects such as discomfort, a mild burning sensation or stinging in your eyes. See your eye doctor if these symptoms persist.
