Web hosting services are pretty much a commodity. In other words, they are sort of like milk. No matter who you buy it from, the product is pretty much the same. That is true unless you don’t really understand what you are buying. There are some bad web hosts out there and here are 2 tips for picking a good one.
Web Hosting cPanel
Make sure you get an account that has cPanel functionality. Even if you do not use a lot of the features, someone you hire to manage things probably will. A cPanel is basically an administrative area for the back end of your site. It allows you to create databases, setup email, and install applications.
Good Support
Makes sure the host you go with provides good support. There is nothing worse than running into a problem and not having someone to call than can walk you through steps to fixing it.
