The Process Of Stormwater Management

Stormwater is the water that flows over the roads, parking lots, street and gardens, and other sites in the city. The source of stormwater is mostly rainwater or melting of snow after a heavy snowfall. The stormwater obstructs the access to road and other sites in urban areas. The process of stormwater management is to make sure that the runoff is removed and the inflow of the flowing water is prevented to go into lakes and spread pollution. The water that stems of in form of storm impact the municipal infrastructure of the city and the proper management works to keep everything intact and functional.

Today stormwater management has become one of the major concerns for urban communities as in many cases due to snow storms and heavy rainfall it becomes increasingly difficult to get rid of the rainwater without using significant resources.
