Nothing sounds more exciting than having access to a sleek and sexy sports car for a few days. It’s possible to find a weekend sports car rental, but you’ll need to be prepared to provide a little extra money and buy some additional insurance. The sports car you’re hoping to take on the road is worth a lot more than an average economy rental car.
First and most obviously, make sure you can provide a valid driver’s license. You’ll have to show proof of adequate insurance as well, otherwise you’ll have to buy the agency’s insurance. You’ll need a credit card, too, and there will likely be a deposit that you’ll have to pay until the car is returned in excellent condition.
Make sure you pay attention to the contract you sign. No one wants to be surprised by extra fees and unknown contingencies.
