Blue Mountains Day Trips

The beautiful Blue Mountains are located just an hour or two west of Sydney, and Blue Mountains day trips are popular with those looking for a brief escape from Sydney. The area has something for everyone, including some of the state’s most stunning scenery, fascinating Aboriginal culture, antique and craft shops, and charming small towns. Most trips will pick you up and drop you off at your Sydney hotel and many include extras such as a visit to the Featherdale wildlife park or a journey on the world’s steepest railway. The Blue Mountains area is also known for its many wineries; many of the dozens of wineries here welcome visitors for tours and tastings. A day trip is the perfect way to sample some of the best wine in the world without having to worry about driving back to your hotel.
