Playa del Carmen is a town located in the Riviera Maya in the province of Quintana Roo in Mexico. It’s a tropical paradise with sandy beaches, locally-owned shops with unique treasures, world-class restaurants and nearby historical monuments.
When it comes to finding somewhere to stay in Playa del Carmen,there are plenty of options available including boutique hotels, large all-inclusive resorts, bed and breakfasts, chain hotels and guest houses. Where you decide to stay will depend on your budget, the amenities you wish to have in your accommodation, your party size and whether you prefer a low-key, quiet environment or an exciting one with people around all the time.
Some Playa del Carmen Hotels are located right downtown where you can walk to the beach and browse the main street without having to get a bus or cab. Others are located on the outskirts where it will be harder to get into the center of town but you will be closer to some of the nicer beaches.
