Understanding Storm Drain Management

Sands and gravel, both natural and in the form of artificial stuffings, are often dissolved and have a variable degree of thickening; this sometimes makes them unsuitable for bearing the loads of an artifact. The vibro tools increase and homogenize the degree of soil thickening, regardless of the presence or absence of groundwater.

Thin steel elements such as sheet piles or single-bar tie-rods can be driven into the sandy ground with vibro tools. A further application concerns the reduction of soil permeability.
Vibro tool with decompression cone both laterally and at the bottom of excavations. The columns in vibrated compacted gravel (CGV): in cohesive and mixed soils

The pneumatic winding vibro is predominantly used, where the gravel filler material escapes, under air pressure, to the tip of the tool (Bottom Feed Vibro). The Storm Drain Management was developed to allow dry driving.
