Choosing The Right Bridesmaid Shoes

If you’ve been asked to be a bridesmaid in a friend or family member’s wedding, you’re likely going to have to dress the part. Bridesmaid shoes need to be comfortable, pretty, and flattering. Before you start shopping, talk to the bride. She may have some specific ideas about what she wants you to wear.

Coordinate the shoes with the dress. You want to make sure the shoes match. Talk to other bridesmaids as well. It might not be possible for everyone to have the same footwear, but at least coordinating style and color is a good idea.

Finally, remember that you’ll be wearing these shoes for several hours. You’ll also be photographed in them. The right shoes will look fantastic, but they’ll also feel good on your feet. Anything that pinches your toes will be painful, and you don’t want heels so high that you risk tripping.
