Being a wellness expert comes with a bit of a conundrum. Very often, clients have a wrong idea of what to expect. They may be looking for quick fixes that don’t require much effort. This in turn may frustrate you, if you’re not seeing the results you’re trying to create.
One strategy is to start small. Don’t promise huge results upfront. Instead, focus on one aspect of your client’s health and well being. Provide simple step so they can see measurable results within a reasonable time frame. Once they experience some success, you’ll find it easier to convince them of more advanced techniques.
You should also be selective when it comes to who you work with. It may seem hard at first, but in the long term it pays off. Clients who don’t get results will destroy your reputation. If you spot red flags, you’re better off looking for someone else.
