One of the easiest ways to make some extra cash is by working as a secret shopper, or mystery shopper as it is sometimes known. Just about every company needs to know what their customers think about their products or service, and honest feedback from customers can help them to evaluate their service, identify any shortcomings, and test new products.
Because of this, many companies will pay for mystery shopping. As a shopper, you are paid to go into stores, restaurants and other businesses, and shop, order a meal, perhaps return a product, or ask a question of customer service. You then submit a report to the company outlining your shopping experience, enabling the company to see how a typical customer was treated, and whether they were satisfied. This type of work allows you to work as little or as often as you like, and usually choose your own schedule.
