Who is Russell Javors?

Russell Javors is no ordinary person. He is a musician who achieved great success in the 1970s and 1980s as a guitarist with the famous rock band, ‘Billy Joel.’

Javors was born and raised in New York. His passion for music began at a young age, and he started playing the guitar when he was just 12 years old. As he grew up, he became determined to make a career in music, and his talent soon caught the attention of Billy Joel.

In 1978, Javors joined Billy Joel’s band and quickly became an essential part of the group. He was responsible for the memorable guitar solos and riffs in many of their biggest hits.

Javors remained a member of the band for over a decade, and during this time, he contributed to some of the most iconic songs of the era, including “Uptown Girl” and “We Didn’t Start the Fire.”

Despite his success with Billy Joel, Javors decided to leave the band in 1989 to pursue his solo career and other interests. He continued to work in music and even earned a Grammy nomination for his work on the ‘Sesame Street’ soundtrack.

Today, Russell Javors is regarded as one of the greatest guitarists in rock history, and his music continues to be appreciated by fans all over the world.
