You can expect to find delicious rotisserie chicken on the Swiss Chalet menu; after all, it is considered to be the chain’s signature dish. The chain was founded in 1954 and has just over 200 restaurants across Canada, most of them designed with an Alpine or rustic look. As well as the rotisserie chicken, the chain offers several other meat entrees, including a chicken pot pie, barbecue ribs, and chicken wings. Several combo meals are also usually on the menu, such as chicken and ribs together. Lighter meal options include salads, such as an Asian chicken salad, and a chicken club wrap; Swiss Chalet also offers various standards that include a cheeseburger, chicken strips and a chicken sandwich. There’s an extensive children’s menu with a cheese pizza and mini chicken strips, and the chain has several tempting desserts including a coconut cream pie.
