Walking Tours In Sydney

Several companies offer walking tours in Sydney, and as in any big city, walking can be the best way to see the sights. Walks typically last a couple of hours and take place rain or shine, and some walks are free. One of the most popular walks takes in the area known as the Rocks, the site of the original convict settlement, and today home to shops, cafes and galleries. Other popular walks take in the area called King’s Cross, long known for its nightlife and Bohemian atmosphere, the Botanic gardens and the city’s haunted sites. But two of the most popular walking tours take in the city’s two most iconic landmarks, the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. If you are feeling adventurous and want a spectacular and unique view of the city, a walk up and across the 134 metre high arch is not to be missed.
