• Make sure the phone is unlocked
If you head abroad with a prepaid SIM, whether it’s an international or local SIM, make sure your GSM device is not locked.
• Check the phone’s APN settings
It could be required to configure your network data operator’s APN for the SIM to work. If the data cannot be accessed after the SIM is inserted, follow the configuration instructions for your APN that came along with your SIM pack.
