Uses For Heavy Duty Plastic Sheeting

Heavy duty plastic sheeting has more uses than you might think. Plastic sheeting is commonly used to insulate doors and windows, as it can easily and securely be taped in place to block any gaps. It makes the perfect outdoor covering for anything that needs to be protected from extreme weather, such as piles of timber or building materials, an outdoor grill or outdoor garden tools or equipment. When camping, it can be used as an effective tarpaulin or groundsheet. Lining a small pond or swimming pool is also easy, as the thicker sheeting is generally puncture resistant. When painting indoors, the sheeting can be used as a drop cloth on the floor or to cover and protect furniture; sheeting can also be used to divide up a room. It’s easy to cut to size and shape, and worth keeping around in case you need it.
