Everyone seems to be doing what they can to be greener these days. Making small changes from plastic straws to reusable ones, plastic bags to reusable bags or at least reusing the plastic ones, and changing to products that have less harmful ingredients in them.
Another area is to find green methods of housecleaning. One of the easiest things to do is to get rid of the products that are full of harmful ingredients. An easy green housekeeping tips is to buy a big container of vinegar; some people only use vinegar when it comes to cleaning their home.
Green housekeeping tips when it comes to vinegar:
Air freshener — Put out a bowl of vinegar and it will pull the smells out of the air. You may need to change the vinegar a time or two and be aware that the bowl may get gross.
Rag with vinegar — Moisten a rag with some vinegar for cleaning most surfaces. You can also use this to clean the wipers on your car if they aren’t working well.
Clean lunch bags — If you haven’t switched to a reusable lunch bag, this may be a good idea. If it starts to get smelly, wipe it down with vinegar.
