Anti corruption laws are provisions that are in place to prevent people or organizations to indulge in corrupt practices. Most laws define corruption as any act that involves taking in illegal money, capital, or gains to deliver unauthorized benefits and favors to other. Whether it is working of an organization, or a government body, or a simple business transaction, the anti-corruption laws forbid the parties to go for a bribe, to give other unfair benefits.
It is a responsibility of an entity to be aware of the anti-corrupt laws and make sure they do not violate any laws, else they will be liable for legal actions and may have to face lawsuits and penalties.
All countries have some form of governing mechanism to check a company or individual to confirm they are adhering to the anti-corruption Laws and are not violating the statute.
