Setting A DIY Still Life Photography Studio

If your dream is to become one of the best still life photographers in your city, you need to begin working on it from now. Don’t wait until you can afford fancy studio equipment or a top-notch camera to begin. Here is a quick overview of a few readily available equipment that you can start with.

Studio Lighting

Find sources of light that you can mount on stands and also empower by battery packs or wall outlets. To ensure you take perfect images, have at least four studio lights. For the most part, there should be no shadows in the products.

Umbrellas

Consider going for shoot-through umbrellas and always position them over your light source. You need them to help you ensure light is distributed evenly. You don’t need harsh shadows.

Backdrops

A great backdrop will help you to create a uniform background that doesn’t distract you from the product. You can choose either a stand-alone backdrop or wall-mounted backdrop frame.
