Ultralight planes are extremely minimalist. Most will only have one or two seats, landing gears, wings, and minimal controls. Unlike the typical commercial plane, these are much more simple to fly and are thus popular with aviation enthusiasts. Cost is relatively cheap so they are a lot more accessible for purchase and for rent compared to other planes. They operate much like hang gliders but with longer flight times and more possibilities.
As for ultralight avionics, the control panel contains only the essentials. These include a temperature gauge, an oil pressure gauge, a water pressure gauge, a DC voltmeter, and an angle of attack sport system. Pilots should be able to check the status of their vehicle at a glance and make adjustments accordingly. If any of them seem to be failing, then inspection and replacement should be performed right away.
