Residential Dumbwaiter: Simplifying Life For Homeowners

The residential dumbwaiter is as increasingly popular as ever, and for good reason. These gadgets were fairly common in past decades and were often used simply for transporting laundry or groceries to the kitchen. However, they have so many more uses this day-and-age and have advanced significantly in terms of technology. Perhaps this is why so many people are having this appliance installed in the home.

Unlike their predecessors, the modern day dumbwaiter is most commonly operated via a remote or push-button. Earlier models required manual pulleys, which could be an inconvenience to the homeowner at times. However, most are electric these days and have so many uses, almost like a miniature elevator. Rather than just transport goods to a kitchen or laundry room, they are now often connected to all levels of the home from even a garage or a basement, simplifying life for many homeowners and renters.
