Planning A Trip To London

Deciding the time of year should be your first step in any London trip planner. Accommodation and airfare are typically cheaper if avoiding the summer, and London has a full program of events all year, including Wimbledon, Trooping the Colour, and the University Boat Race. Your budget and available time will determine the length of your trip and where to stay, whether in a hotel, rented apartment or bed and breakfast. You should also decide which area of London to stay in; it makes sense to stay inside the circle line if most of your sightseeing will be in the central area. Perhaps the hardest part is planning what to see; any first time trip should take in the must see sights, including the Tower, St. Paul’s and the British Museum. But London has so much more, and you could spend a month there without seeing everything.
