You can join the IDC staff instructor course if you are above the age of 18 years. This course will provide you the skills and knowledge needed to instruct the next generation of diving instructors. You must have exemplary diving skills, knowledge of theoretical diving information and good presentation skills. You will know what type of government standards applies to the instructors. You can conduct the assistant instructor course. The candidates must be psychologically evaluated. Knowledge of teaching in open water, confined water and other setups are evaluated. The course prepares you to teach many components of this curriculum. The instructors offer knowledge obtained from their experience. The new leaders are provided an in-depth knowledge of the diving instruction process. It offers a great career option if you have an aptitude for this field. The course will cost about $1,500 which includes $900 tuition fee and $600 classroom materials cost.
