There are many veteran charities out there, and you can assist them by donating items including shoes, clothes, furniture, household items, food and yes even money. However it’s always in your best interest to make sure that the veteran donations are actually going to the veterans and no one else. So do your homework before donating to any veteran charity. Once you are satisfied with the credibility of the veteran charity, do your best to give what you can as every little bit makes a difference at the end of the day.
