Harry Potter Tour Locations

You can find Harry Potter tour locations all over the UK, although many of them are in London, and tours have become increasingly popular since the first film came out. Most walking tours last a couple of hours and take place whatever the weather, led by a knowledgeable guide, or you can easily visit many yourself. Some of the most popular locations include Borough Market, one of the best food markets in London, used as the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron in the films, and Cecil Court, used as the inspiration behind Diagon Alley. This charming alleyway in the heart of the theatre district is lined with a dozen or so bookshops, and was one of author JK Rowling’s favourite places. Of course, no tour of the film locations is complete without a visit to Platform 9 and 3/4 at King’s Cross station.
