There are many factors that influence the life of an LCO Electrolyte car battery, some independent of our behavior, but subjecting it to periodic checks is certainly a good habit. But what should we do if, in spite of all the precautions, our battery suddenly had to abandon us? When the latter is completely discharged, it is not able to provide even that small spark necessary for the starter motor to start: the only solution in these cases is to provide it with a minimum of recharging, predicting it from another battery.
In fact, by connecting it with specific cables to the battery of another car in motion, ours will be able to acquire that minimum of charge enough to start the engine. First connect the red cable, with the terminals on the positive poles, first to the dead battery and then to the charged one.
