Any good gym workout demands a solid and adjustable bench on which to undertake exercises for the development of the arms, legs and chest. There are a few things to look out for when deciding on the best weight bench to satisfy your training requirements. The better the quality, the safer and ultimately more effective your workout will be.
It needs to be capable of being adjusted in at least 4, probably as many as 6 preset positions. The bench should be balanced and stable throughout its usage and have good padded support in the seat and back rest areas. As with everything, budget will play a big part in decision making, but that apart, considerations should center on how much weight is likely to be lifted and how much space is available, as being cramped up will nullify certain benefits.
