Every golfer wants distance and accuracy. As a recreational golfer, you might be focusing on putting – but you also want confidence to step up to the first tee and smash a driver down the fairway. Here some golf driving tips.
Be comfortable widening your stance. The driver has a larger swing arch. Widening your stance will ensure that you can dive with stability. The inside of your feet should align with your shoulders.
Take a slight tilt. With the driver, the golf ball is placed on a tee and you must “hit up” to exert proper force instead of “down”. You can help facilitate that motion by tilting your spine at address.
Use more loft. A high loft with low spin is highly efficient in driving. Next time you are out on the golf course, experiment with a higher loft.
Use a lighter club. To increase distance, you’ll need to swing faster. You cannot do that with a cumbersome club. A lightweight club will enable you to activate fast-twitch muscles to allow for powerful drivers.
