EV car charging stations are the equivalent of gas stations for traditional vehicles. They are scattered across public places so that owners can boost their batteries if they are running low. Some of these charge slowly so you have to park for a while to get a reasonable result. Others can charge quickly such that 10 or 15 minutes can add considerable mileage capacity. Battery swaps may also be possible to get a 100% charge right away.
Payment may be by time or by charge. Those who would like to avoid the higher rates at these charging stations can always plug into their own home. Ideally, they should remain plugged overnight in order to get a full charge by the time they wake up. They might need to get adaptor plugs and additional circuits to ensure compatibility. Manufacturers should be able to provide these.
