A hydronic heater uses hot water or steam to transport heat from the heater to the room that needs to be heated. Hot water is transported in pipes to the heat exchangers/radiators in the rooms inside the house. The radiator extracts and radiates heat to the surroundings. This heating system is safer than forced air systems since it does not raise dust. It is also much more efficient since water is a better heat-transfer medium than air.
