Lately, mystery writers have been popping up all over the place. You can find discount books at dollar stores and drug stores. They will usually be listed as closeout merchandise. But, stop and take a look, and you will find one of the best recent authors listed among all those titles.
It seems that everyday, there are new mystery authors jumping aboard the idea of selling books on the web. Some even start their own websites and gain popularity and notoriety from that. Some of them even write free versions of their novel, and post that part of it for free, hoping that people will be interested enough to buy the rest of the book.
That seems to work, as nearly every day, another mystery writer makes it into the big time with a new, lucrative contract, simply by throwing themselves out there and hoping that someone will take note of the that there are writers who need a break.
