Alcohol is jam-packed with toxins which, when they build up, tend to make one feel sluggish and tired. Taking raw lemons as a chase to spirits -particularly vodka- can go a long way in flushing out toxins as you drink, thereby nipping the possibility of a hangover in the bud.
Water
Water is the purest liquid you will ever come across. Drinking plenty of water before going to bed is the best prevention drink for hangovers because it neutralises the alcohol in your system. And if you’re drinking spirits, water is the best chase to use as opposed to fizzy drinks.
Last but not least, don’t fall victim to the common misconception that driking a beer will cure a hangover because it simply doesn’t work.
